Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
With the region’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), we are ready if your baby is born premature or critically ill, whether at Hurley Medical Center or transferred here from another hospital.
Lactation Consultants to help you with breast feeding
We have certified Lactation Consultants on staff to provide support and information about breastfeeding.
The highest level of newborn care for your new baby
After discharge from the hospital, you can receive follow-up newborn care from the extensive staff of pediatric specialists at Hurley Children’s Clinic, conveniently located across the street from Hurley Medical Center.
Help with postpartum depression
We understand that the birth of a baby is a wonderful event – but it can also trigger many powerful emotions, including fear, anxiety, and in some cases, postpartum depression. If you feel you are experiencing postpartum depression, please contact the Hurley Mental Health Associates, the outpatient mental health clinic of Hurley Medical Center, at (810) 262-2100.
