For certain medical conditions and types of surgery, physical rehabilitation may be part of your overall post-surgery recovery plan. The Rehabilitation Services Department at Hurley Medical Center provides high-quality patient care that includes physical medicine management and one-on-one therapy to patients from across Northeastern Michigan. Our team of experienced physicians, therapists and nurses works collaboratively with patients and their families to help individuals recover—in body, mind and spirit—from acute illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions.

An experienced team of specialists drawn from departments all over the hospital

The Rehabilitation Services team is made up of board-certified physicians, nurses and therapists with extensive experience and training in physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy. Our staff is highly tenured, with most of our team having worked at Hurley Rehabilitation Services Department for more than a decade, and some for more than 20 years.
