This unique program specializes in the treatment of chronic neck and back pain and related disorders. Hurley Medical Center therapists utilize McKenzie techniques, Med-X and other equipment as well as traditional therapy interventions to increase strength and decrease pain. These approaches are often combined with a stretching program and core stabilization, with significant emphasis placed on posture assessment and correction. We also provide the patient with education in home exercise programs, proper posture and body mechanics, stressing the importance of individual follow-through in order to improve outcomes.
