To admit a patient

To admit a patient to Hurley Medical Center, call the Physician Hot Line at (810) 262-9812 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Please have the following information available to streamline the admission of your patient:

• Patient's Name
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Type of Bed Needed (Med, ICU, etc.)
• Isolation, if needed

Pediatrics

If you are not on the Hurley Medical Staff and wish to admit a pediatric patient, please call (810) 262-PEDS (7337) to speak to a Pediatric Attending Physician who will assist you with your admission.

To transfer a patient

Hurley Medical Center is the region’s only Level I Trauma Center and the only hospital in the region with a Pediatric Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Hurley staff physicians are available 24/7 to receive your most critical patients. Our board certified critical care physicians will deliver the highest level of specialized critical care and will keep you informed throughout the process.
