Feb. 13-Thanks to the generous donations of Kroger shoppers, Kroger once again donated 400 balloons on February 13, 2012 to pediatric patients at Hurley Children’s Hospital. 

Employees from the Kroger Grocery Store made the very special Valentine’s Day delivery as part of Kroger’s Heart to Heart Program, started eight years ago. Kroger shoppers were each asked to donate $2.99 to buy a balloon for Hurley Children's Hospital's pediatric patients. 

“It just feels great to make a difference and brighten someone’s day with a balloon. We just want to make their day happier, because you don’t know what people are going through,” said Sandra Barnett, Floral Manager at Kroger on Corunna Road in Flint Township.
