Jr. League of Flint Visits Hurley Pediatric Patients

April 30-Members of the Junior League of Flint threw a party for the children in Hurley Medical Center's Pediatric Unit patients last week.

On Thursday April 26, 2012, League members threw a pizza party for the hospital's youngest pediatric patients. They also delivered handmade blankets and presented a $700 check for a new PlayStation® and supplies for the art cart.

“The Junior League of Flint is an organization of women volunteers promoting and supporting the community and other organizations that address women's and children's issues. We are proud to be able to support the Hurley Pediatric Unit both financially and with our time and talent to make those lives touched at Hurley just that much better and brighter," said Shannon White, Junior League of Flint member.
