Hurley Health and Fitness Center (HHFC)
The area’s only medically-based health and fitness facility, Hurley Health and Fitness Center offers advanced exercise technology, an experienced team of fitness professionals, and most importantly, access to specialists from Hurley’s full range of medical practices, including cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation sciences.
To help you get fit and lose weight, over 60 group exercise classes a week are available, as well as one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer. The Olympic-size pool is also an excellent way to tone and strengthen your body as well as lose weight. Pay attention to your nutrition
Weight loss and nutrition counseling go hand in hand. Hurley Medical Center’s Nutrition Services has twelve full-time registered dietitians on staff to counsel and educate you about healthy eating and cooking habits and how to lose weight.
Hurley’s Diabetes Education Programs
Being obese often brings about diabetes, a serious disease that is especially common in Genesee County. To help people manage their diabetes, Hurley Medical Center offers diabetes education for adults with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Click here for the list of Hurley’s adult diabetes education classes.
Hurley Medical Center’s diabetes education program is the largest in Genesee County. These programs are recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and certified by the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) as quality self-management diabetes education programs.

The mission of the Hurley Center for Health Outcomes is to improve the quality of life, health and health status of the communities served by Hurley Medical Center.
