Burn Unit

Together with our Level 1-certified Trauma Center and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the Burn Unit at Hurley Medical Center delivers specialized, patient- and family-centered burn injury treatment for children by highly trained specialists who understand the unique medical and emotional needs of children.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Hurley Medical Center was invited to join this national network of 170 children's hospitals in 1990 because we provide the best kid-centered care in our region to every child who needs it, regardless of the family's ability to pay.  As a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Hurley Medical Center helps kids with cancer, birth defects, diabetes, asthma, accidents, trauma, and almost any other health issue imaginable.

Hurley Children’s Rehabilitation Center

The Hurley Children’s Rehabilitation Center provides specialized treatment—including physical, occupational and speech therapy services—for children who have conditions that interfere with development or full participation in daily activities. Treatment is individualized and age-specific, with a focus on training the family to understand and work with the child’s condition and rehabilitative needs.

Hemophilia Treatment Center

One of nine federally- and privately-funded centers in Michigan, the Eastern Michigan Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders at Hurley Medical Center provides complete medical management and home care services to persons of all ages with bleeding and clotting disorders such as hemophilia, von Willebrand’s disease, platelet disorders, thrombosis and thrombophilia.

Hurley Asthma Clinic

Asthma is far too common in our area, afflicting thousands of children and adults. But Hurley is leading the fight against asthma with the Hurley Asthma Clinic and our home-based Asthma Disease Management Program, the only one of its kind in the region.

Hurley Children's Clinic

For Genesee County and the surrounding area, Hurley Medical Center and nearby Hurley Children’s Clinic are recognized as the undisputed leaders in caring for children and babies. Treating 11,000 children (22,000 visits) every year from birth to age 18, including premature and high-risk babies, Hurley Children’s Clinic is the best place to go when your child is sick or needs the expertise of a Hurley specialist.

Level 1 Trauma Center

Hurley Medical Center's Level 1 Trauma Center combines the latest technology with exceptional physicians and staff to provide immediate response by a highly specialized, in-house team of trauma professionals 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Level 1 verification is the highest credential possible from the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for any trauma center.
